Hello hello, dear reader!
This, right here, right now, is the best time to scratch all the itches you have. Maybe the biggest one first.
That sounds weird, I know, but hear me out.
We are living in an era of abundance. We have access to so much knowledge and such powerful resources and tools that there's almost nothing that Physics would allow that you cannot do. Perhaps some things might take a little more time than others, but possible nonetheless.
I've admitted in the past that almost all the skills I've built over time were largely due to YouTube. There are excellent tutorials and whatnot to learn almost anything you can think of (as long as it's legal). The problem with YouTube has always been that you don't really know how to find the right sequence of videos to go from the skill set you're actually at to a more advanced level.
The tools that we have available right now solve that easily. Make use of the tools at your disposal to speed up the process of learning.
I'm currently working on a big project that includes a lot of stakeholders.
I realized that I was not very good at sharing ideas, so I got a book called The Mom Test, which is an excellent short book on talking to customers effectively, and I think the recent few meetings have gone very well.
In the process of building this project (still ongoing), there were a lot of things I had to figure out, which would've been very difficult to figure out on my own. But I now have very smart assistants that can research and give me the options and considerations to verify. That cuts down so much work.
I have a note on my phone with a list of all the things that I wanted to do but have always waited to get to them. Now, I think, is one of the best times to get to them. The friction has never been so low.
Perhaps it might be a good time to go back to your own notes and see the things you wanted to do/build. All the resources you could need are also easily accessible.
Let's get to it.
I'll see you next week.
Warmly,
Suraj
